Here’s an unpopular opinion: Even luxury brands can have terrible service, inferior product, and have customers left feeling totally snubbed. In this buyer’s guide, we’ll uncover some of Tiffany’s worst reviews and customer complaints.

Note: In no way is this meant to discourage anyone or talk down on the Tiffany brand. We like our readers to be able to have the complete picture of the good and the bad when it comes to making a buying decision. Tiffany & Co. Complaints on TrustPilot

Here, we’ll be going over some of the recent negative reviews on TrustPilot.

Looks like very poor customer service is a common complaint for many people when it comes to Tiffany.

The Tiffany store definitely prioritizes in-person shopping as opposed to online. And if that’s the case, Tiffany can’t expect every employee to be able to deliver top-tier customer service every time — people need a break too!

So this review above isn’t for an engagement ring but rather a bracelet with a clasp. We decided to include this to show that perhaps the craftsmanship may not always be the best… even for a luxury brand.

In this section, we’ll go over the lowest (and most recent) reviews on Google from Tiffany’s flagship showroom on 5th Avenue in NYC.

Tiffany & Co. Complaints on BBB

This person has quite a few Tiffany complaints to make.

First off, it looks like they were lied to by the staff about receiving a gift in the mail.

Secondly, the craftsmanship on Tiffany’s diamonds were quite bad as the platinum ring was subject to scratches and bends. It could be perhaps the ring slipped through Tiffany’s quality control!

And finally, this person called customer service and didn’t receive a satisfactory answer… yikes!

But the great thing about BBB is that we can see exactly how Tiffany handles the complaints. The way the Tiffany brand maintains itself is by moments like these.

Although this complaint above has nothing to do with engagement rings, it’s still important to see how Tiffany handles craftsmanship issues and a “terrible store experience”.

Despite all the complaints, the quality of the Tiffany diamond itself seems to hold up quite well (the issue typically lies in the metal setting).

Tiffany carries itself amongst luxury brands and all within good reason with great diamond jewelry and quality product expected.

If we’re being honest with ourselves here, there’s always a small amount of crazy customer service in everyone… sometimes people just aren’t having a good day!

Tiffany & Co. Alternatives

As always, we like to remind everyone that these negative reviews must be taken with a grain of salt.

The truth is, we’re only seeing one side of the story most of the time and we don’t know for sure what actually happened that led to the negative review.

But if any of the reviews was enough to change your mind about shopping at Tiffany & Co., we have a few Tiffany alternatives worth checking out:
