How To Make a Wedding Registry on Amazon
Creating wedding registries can be quite a daunting task.
Thankfully Amazon has made every couple’s wedding registry process very simple.
In three simple steps, we’ll show you exactly how you can create a wedding registry on Amazon!
Step 1 – Go to Amazon.com/wedding
To begin, head on over to Amazon.com/wedding and click the button that says “CREATE YOUR REGISTRY”.
From here, you’ll follow the steps and fill out any prompts like your name and your partner’s name, the date of your wedding, the number of guests, and more.
For demonstration purposes, we’ll go with 125 guests here.
Once you finish answering the questions, your backend dashboard will look something like this:
The Amazon wedding registry will suggest the number of gifts to add by price point, based on our guest count of 125.
If you’re not quite sure what to add to your Amazon wedding registry, they offer a gift advisor feature that can provide some personalized gift ideas and recommendations.

Step 2 – Add wedding gifts to your list
The next step here is add wedding gifts to your Amazon wedding registry.
If you have a good idea of what you want, then you can add to wedding registry manually.
Otherwise, we recommend using the gift advisor feature.
You can browse through multiple gift ideas across various budgets based on how many people are attending your wedding.
In this example above, these items are the first four recommendations we got when we selected a budget of $100-$150.
We can also filter by categories on the left hand side.
For more pricier items, Amazon allows group gifting where multiple people can pitch in to fund your gift(s).
That way, no singular guest will have to worry about covering the entire cost of that 50-inch TV set you always wanted on your wedding registry.

Step 3 – Share your new Amazon wedding registry with guests
After adding all the items of your heart’s desire, it’s now time to spread the word and share your new Amazon wedding registry with guests!
In order to share your Amazon registry, head over to your main dashboard and click the ‘Share’ tab on the top right hand side.
Next, you’ll be taken to a page that looks like this.
Here, you can change your link to make it customized or shorter.
You can also change the profile picture and cover image of the wedding registry.
And guests will be able to see the wedding date and how many days to go until your wedding.
Currently, the only default options on Amazon are to share via email, Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest.
But with the link, you can share your registry with wedding guests via text message, Instagram, WhatsApp, and even TikTok to name a few!
